In 1998, The String House formed a relationship with a fine workshop in China. Instruments are made according to our specifications regarding dimensions, graduations, varnish and wood quality.
Because of their visual beauty and wonderful tonal qualities, these violins are currently being enjoyed throughout the USA and are the choice of many teachers for individuals in need of a fine student violin.

	THE MARTELLO VIOLIN The Martello is a fine handmade violin with exceptional full, rich, responsive tone. This instrument is finished in our shop with fine fitting pegs, professional bridge, and properly shaped fingerboard. The varnish is an attractive red brown color. 	GOTTFRIED LEMBOCK VIOLIN We highly recommend Gottfried Lembock violins. They are outstanding hand crafted violins made in the antique style from Germany. These violins are made on a slightly smaller model making them more comfortable for a smaller person. The tone is very responsive and of a warmer color. Available in 1/8 – 3/4 violins only.
